Samsung Galaxy "X" With Foldable Display May Arrive In 2018
Samsung is now rumored to bring a smartphone next year with a foldable display.After iPhone X Samsung launching its own "Samsung X" next year.The highlights of smartphone said to be its foldable screen.Reportedly, Device was spotted in Bluetooth certification listing earlier this year and now spotted in South Korea's NRA certification or National Radio Agency.
This is not confirmed when exactly the company plans to launch the upcoming smartphone. While the listing at least confirms the existence of the foldable device.Rumors indicate the Samsung X may arrive in 2018.
The Samsung Galaxy X is said to come with model number SM-G888No and is being called as 'Project Valley' internally.
President of mobile business at Samsung Electronic, Koh Dong-jin confirmed that foldable smartphone is coming the next year 2018.Reportedly it was mentioned that smartphone will arrive in 'Galaxy Note' series.However, it was also mentioned that several hurdles were being faced in making the foldable display.If these are not solved, the smartphone arrival could be pushed back.
"I can say our goal is next year, When we overcome some problems for sure, we will launch the product." Said Koh Dong-jin.
It has not revealed what exact problems are coming to make a bendable display.However, Samsung back in 2013 showcased prototype devices with a bendable display, named it 'YOUM'.
